Famous imposters Bram Stoker Books
The book starts off with Perkin Warbeck, who pretended to be Richard, one of the Plantagenet Princes in the Tower. The book has many imposters as well as hoaxes. The Cat Hoax was one, and it did not end well. The last chapter was my favorite! It is devoted to the Bisley Boy. Did Queen Elizabeth die when young in Bisley? Was she replaced by a boy somehow related to her? Did a trusted clergyman really find a girl in a coffin with Tudor finery in Bisley? Why did Queen Elizabeth never marry? These and many other questions are discussed.
Interesting and fun read!

Famous imposters Bram Stoker Books Reviews
No page numbers, frequent typos; no separation between sections, they just all run together
Completely unheard and unexpected tales regarding famous people. Compelled me to actually do further reading on several of these stories. Perfect for anyone who loves history.
A book from a different time that does not translate well into ours.
I like it because is a very interesting story, but you need to read first The King's deception from Steve Berry to understand the story of the Bisley Boy
Since I have not completed reading it, i will withhold commenting on it.
As an old-school student and researcher, I am partial to actual printed books where available. This Forgotten Books, Classic Reprint book-on-demand service is truly amazing. I know this title is available in the public domain as an ebook, but to me it is much more satisfying to hold the thing in your hands. This facsimile reprint is beautifully and cleanly printed, and is indistinguishable from a normal perfect-bound book. Most astonishing to me, however, is that I received it about 4 days after ordering it, and if you look on the last page, there is a little notation indicating "Created January 28, 2014." I received it the next day! How do they do this? This is a wonderful service to readers trying to locate out-of-print titles and obscure or rare books. I can't say enough good things about this!
Bram Stoker wrote much more than "Dracula," though that is by far his most famous book. His other books are horror stories and other fantasy fiction, but this book is a collection of international (mostly English) figures who lived assumed lives -- some proved and authentic, others speculative. His knowledge of backstory details and information that no one but a savvy Brit would have access to is a delight! The blokbuster is his section on the gender and true identity of Queen Eizabeth I!!! Don't miss this!
